I'm looking for a web host that supports ASP.Net 3+ and eUKHost seems
very competitively priced. Anyone able to offer any experience with
them please.

I have a semi-dedicated server with them, and I must say their support
is great. You can contact them by chat 24/7, and their mail support is
also fast and to the point. One of the best support I know, and I'm no
newbie in the field.

The quality of the hosting is good as well, as far as my own
experiences can justify such qualification. I have had some connection
uptime problems in the beginning, but working along with support staff
changing some server settings improved that. I didn't have any
complaints about them, and although their site looks outdated and
migth cause you to take a look elsewhere, I can recommend them for you
to give them a try. Check out their forums as well, reading the posts
will tell you a lot about the company and their products.

Before eUKHost I have also tried a lot of other nicely priced
providers (Homepage Universe, Servage, and Strato for example) and
they all pale in comparison. LOTS of problems, mostly uptime and other
connection related stuff, with these providers.

Its a shared hosting I'm looking at initially, but your comments about
their support is encouraging.

I've already looked at the forums. Seem a little difficult to navigate
and find just what you're looking for, but a whole host of info there.

Thanks for the warning. Reason I'm looking at eUKHost is because my
current hosting co will let me move to Windows for about the same cost
as Unix, but then want to charge extra for the .net framework and MS SQL
such that is will double the cost. Apart from that I've had great
support from them.

Thanks again for your comments.

Is moving to windows wise for hosting? Apache on UNIX is hard to beat.

No, but there are cross-platform alternatives to ASP.net, which aid the
building of dynamic web pages.
