A basic brochure site has hosting costs between £5-20 dependant upon number of mailboxes, size of website and amount of hits
For an E-Commerce website we utilise a database to store product/category details etc. Therefore, the running cost for an average E-Commerce site will incorporate:
Database space
Web Space
Mailboxes
Domain name
The cost of some of these items varies based on number of products stored and the number of visitors to the site. On average the price varies between £20-£40 per month + VAT.
If you decide to take payments on your own website instead of redirecting you also need to add on the cost of a digital certificate (approx. £10 per month)
